What is the Fridge POV Tiramisu AI effect?
Updated:
Short answer
It is an AI video effect from October 2026: the camera sits inside a fridge, a big foil tray of tiramisu fills the foreground and an adult stands behind it, digging out spoonful after spoonful at night. AI versions now use your own photo, and tutorial posts followed within days.
Where it came from
The fridge-camera joke is older than AI, and the pet version has its own page, Pet Fridge Cake Heist AI. The tiramisu portrait version we follow is @westindianbella’s video from 19 October 2026 (about 1.1 million views when we checked, with TikTok’s AI label). Tutorial posts came in the same week. Many posts add a “3 AM” card or a “seconds later” card; ours has no text at all.
What happens in the clip
- 0–1 seconds: the fridge light is on and you hold a spoon over the tray, looking at the camera.
- 1–2.5 seconds: the first big scoop goes in and you eat it.
- 2.5–5 seconds: a second scoop from the front corner, and a gap opens in the dessert.
- 5–7 seconds: a third scoop, eaten with the same calm face.
- 7–8 seconds: the spoon goes back for one more, and you look into the lens, satisfied.
Why it works
A tray that empties tells its own story: each scoop makes the gap bigger, and a calm face over the spoon makes the late-night snack look guilty without a word being said.
